Let me tell you about our twin all brick house, located in Allentown’s south side, on a wide and quiet street. There is plenty of space between houses. There is a front and a side lawn/garden, and access to the rear yard. As you enter through the new front door, you will be in the living room which has a crown border. The house has wall to wall carpeting throughout, which is in very good condition. The interior shows pride of ownership and signs of recent painting. To the left are the stairs going to the second floor, which has three bedrooms and a full bath with a tub/shower. On the right of the living room is a hall which enters into the formal dining room with a nice chandelier. Next comes the remodeled eat in kitchen, which features Formica counters, an electric cook top stove with oven, microwave, stainless sink, dishwasher and wood cabinets providing plenty of storage space.
A door behind the kitchen leads to the rear fenced yard. There is a large covered porch connected to a deck, plus the fenced yard. A large shed provides storage space and behind the rear yard is a street with additional parking for two cars which is accessible through the fence door. Downstairs is a two room finished basement with a bar. This area can be used as a family room, an office, or a fourth bedroom. Now that you know about the house, let me tell you about the neighborhood. Your children will attend the Allentown City Schools where there are two early child schools, nine elementary schools, and three middle schools, all feeding Allentown High School. There are fifteen houses of worship within a mile!. Route 78 is two miles away, making New York City a one hour and thirty seven minutes ride east bound, while the Pennsylvania turnpike lies ten minutes away west bound.
