The truby 406 is truly handy. regardless of your intent for the property, the location is hard to beat. a great place to escape to, hunt, run a few cows, or build on, this property is tough to beat with two paved roads running along two fence lines. this property is worth the look.
most of the property has some slight slope, much of it slopes to the center where water can flow into surface tanks. the south end of the property is where the bulk of the contour will be found as gravel outcroppings run along the southern boundary and then drop off 30 feet or so. the view is nice from that end.
a nice belt of pasture, with bull mesquites and hackberry trees, covers about half of the total acres. the older mature pasture is pretty easy to get around in and the canopy allows for good gras production. the way that the pasture frames out the cultivation allows those livestock grazing opportunities to be nice sized food plots too. the more mature trees make nice places for the turkey to roost and the young mesquite make nice rubs for the deer. everything in between gets a chance to have mud rubbed on it from the local pigs.
the property has not been hunted a whole lot; however, there is a setup for deer hunting now. the wildlife are attracted to it's location on the edge of the pasture and wheat field. whitetail deer, rio grande turkeys, feral hogs, dove, and more cross or call the property home.
